Comments: We actually prefer to use DRAQ5 as a far-red nuclear stain for most of our confocal microscopy experiments involving gene transfection studies with a variety of nanoparticles including lipid-based, peptide-based NPs and carbon nanotubes. We obtained excellent results in a variety of cell types in live cell assays and also in cryostat sectioned skin and eye tissues.   We highly appreciate the prompt shipment and outstanding scientific support.

Comments: DRAQ 5 is an excellent product that is easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone wishing to stain DNA in live or fixed cells. One major benefit over other nuclear stains is that excess dye does not need to be washed out as is the case with many other DNA stains.
We did not have any discussion with the company after purchase simply because none was necessary.

Comments: We used DRAQ5 for nuclear counterstaining in filamentous fungi for imaging. DRAQ5 works perfectly using multiple fluorescent markers, since its far red emission avoids signals in other frequently used channels and gives bright signals. It is easy to use and ensures a long lasting fluorescence.

Comments: Easy to use (diluted in phosphate buffer; dilution factor can be increased if increasing incubation time ), sharp staining and contrast, extremely stable compared to other long-red nuclear counterstains we have tried in the lab for immunohistology (no need of special anti-fade mounting medium).
