Comments: Solved an issue in our experiment that PI has overlapping excitation and emission wavelength with high concentration Adriamycin. We got desirable results after using DRAQ7 to label late-apoptotic cells.

Comments: We used DRAQ5 because of its far-red fluorescence and suitability for live/fixed-cell imaging. In general, it suits our needs as we can't find a commercial alternative out there. It is easy to use, but sometimes the fluorescence can be very dim and needs some adjustment to make it visible. We bought it from ThermoFisher/Invitrogen so it is quite expensive.
